Fairytale Swiss Adventure

Today we will explore the Old Town on foot, walking down the cobbled street lined with medieval houses, majestic churches, and historic squares; each telling a different timeless story.

Spend the rest of the afternoon walking around the town, discovering concept stores and shops. Grab some food, and perhaps catch a show at Schiffbau, a ship factory turned theatre.

Before heading to your next destination, we will drive up to the stunning Rhine Falls. Stand high above Europe's largest waterfall, and feel the roar and vibration of the water; you will gain unforgettable memories and fantastic pics.

Walk the cobbled streets, getting to know this gorgeous town, and let the culinary wonders of local taverns, fine dining restaurants and adventurous drinks titillate your taste buds.

Head to the railway station with your guide and spend the day exploring Jungfraujoch - a picturesque mountain paradise. We will ride several panoramic trains and a cable car to reach the most spectacular nooks of this Alpine area.

Change the trains at Grindelwald and board the brand new Eiger Express taking us to Kleine Scheidegg, offering stunning views of the Alps’ Eiger Glacier Wall, which passes through a tunnel leading right across the Eiger rocks at an altitude of 3000m.

The highest railway station on the continent at the “Top of Europe” offers marvellous observation decks. Visit the Ice Cave, grab some lunch at one of the local restaurants and cafés, and get some souvenirs before heading back down to Interlaken on board another scenic train.

*Note: Be sure to wear good shoes and waterproof clothing, as mountain weather is notoriously unpredictable.

Arriving in Lucerne in the early afternoon leaves you plenty of time to freshen up and explore this beautiful small city. Take a walk past 15th-century frescoed houses, quaint wooden bridges, charming shops and craft markets full of unique handmade goods, and stop for a bite to eat.

We will start off with a lovely cruise across Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, where you'll board the steepest cogwheel railway in the world - riding up the famous 'Dragon Ride Cableway' through lush Alpine meadows, spectacular rocks, and sparkling mountain streams until you reach the summit at 2132 metres! Buy yourself some lunch at the top of Mt Pilatus and enjoy the panoramic view of the Alps from the observation deck before descending via the aerial cableway.
